Front Facing Car Seat In 06 Quad Cab

    It seems the strap from the head of the car seat won't tighten down enough. The strap that goes across the bottom is fine. Seat sits at an awkward angle though too. Photos and insight would help. Searching for the instructions now lol

    Are you using a seatbelt or the UAS anchors?
    If you're using the seatbelt there is a u-clip you can use to tie the should belt down to the lap belt with, might help the angle?

    IIRC my 07 QC 1500 did not have UAS... I was surprised when I saw my MC did have it...

    I would take your seat/truck to a fire department and have them check it out and advise... its really not safe to have advice from us on the internet, advising you how to best secure your child in the case of a collision. Just sayin as a parent..

    My wife just corrected me.. Only the center seat was missing the UAS in the back seat of my QuadCab.
