New OEM set arrived today. Going to go what truckin151 suggested and have the top section painted. It will be Chrysler Hemi Orange.

Anyway, just checking to see if anyone has done this to compliment the engine bay and if so would you be kind to share pics.

Cheers.

Have never done that, but I really like that idea.

Both sides are all cracked and full of holes from past tire rubbing years ago. Just replacing them is a major improvement and then Ryan idea came to mind about painting the top part. Visually i can see it looking good but i also like fruit cake LOL.

Gotta give credit so had to blurt your name out lol.
got word that Mat (HEMI450HP) did it on his old street monster when it was still silver. Searched his threads a few hours but could not find any.

Wont be much different on the drivers side but the passenger side is really open so it def will show.

Doing the fenders are one of the last dress up items i have planned for this bay so i will give it a good detail for some pics then let the AZ dirt have its way with them afterwards. No use to keep it clean since l live on miles of dirt unpaved roads. lol. I do try to keep the interior nice and clean though. Not much interior left though :roflsquared:

Its all good. I want to color match mine silver for now. Only question I have is how it will hold up on flexible plastic. The older cars/trucks are steel fender wells so the pain held up nice. Still want to do it. Probably will once it cools down some. Cheap mod if you do it yourself.
