I am not sure if those snap in like the ram emblem does on the 4th gen. If nothing else and you are wanted to paint it, I would suggest taking the grill out and taping everything off. I would say 4 hours tops. 1 hour to remove it tape it off and clean the RAM emblem. 2 hours of painting and a good solid hour of drying in the sunlight.

An overlay can be done without even removing the grill, if you have a steady hand and a straight eye. I did my center caps on the truck.

Hey BTW, how to you like those Toyo's they don't look to aggressive yet don't like like a passenger car either, I am trying to find a new tire that strikes that balance

I have had both Nittos and Toyos and I love the Toyos. Good manners not a whole lot of road noise. My Nitto Terra Grapplers were loud. So far so good. They did well in our ice/snow storm here in Texas. I would recommend them.

They do last a long time. I really like my Toyos. They even ride fairly decent. Everything that I have read the Toyos last a long time. My dad has the Nitto Ridge Grapplers on his and he hates them. He says they are more noisy then the factory Goodyear SRA's on the Ram lol.

Anyone know the best or easiest way to black out the front Ram letters on my 2019 Bighorn (sport)

Last weekend I changed both my front RAM and rear Ram's head from chrome to black, bought both (as a package) off of Ebay for $55.00. The rear emblem was not that difficult, heat, pry, repeat. Now the front was a little bit more involved. Had to remove the entire grill, which included the two fascia parts on the sides. Then remove the grill surround and then the letter mount.
The letter mount is held together with three small star screws and then it slides off the grill face. Once that is removed, the letters are held on by both clips and small "lock" washer style that slide off the nipples (can be accomplished with a pair of neddel-nose plyers). Installation is reverse.

Keep in mind, the fascia pieces are a PITA to remove, thanks to YouTube, was able to get some help on that. I also watched and re-watched the RC grill light install in order to remove the grill, step by ste.

Good luck.

Without removing the entire grill? Must have had some long arms. LOL :)

Thru the front with a metal nail file on the clips .... Looked pretty simple ... They popped right out ... Just look at the new ones .... Don’t disregard ingenuity and clever ....

Took the front R A M letters off fairly easy without removing the grill.

Was able to pull the edge out until I saw the above mention clip/screw (Thingamajig) and used a razor knife to cut that piece.

I did find without putting those clips back on the letters could be pulled out easily so I used some gorilla double sided tape to hold them in
