Last night driving home from daughters house in a rural area my tire light comes on and shows the right front was at 5psi. Its pitch black out so I make a u-turn and headed back to a diner I had passed so I could check it & the monitor pops back to 38 psi. I get to the diner, tire looks fine. Never did that before.

Has anyone here had that happen to them?
I'm sure if I went to the dealer they would say that's normal operation .

Had that happen once in my 2014, got a low tire reading while driving, showed 0 psi then 5 seconds later it was normal. Never happened again. Likely just a glitch, probably nothing to worry about unless it happens again.

Could be a glitch but just keep an eye on it. If it keeps happening then it’s a sign of the sensor going bad. This will be covered under the 3 year 36K at the dealer or you can go to a local discount tire and buy a new one for about $20-$30
