I am in the process of wanting to buy a set of fuel lethals for my 2011 ram 1500, I want -44 offset but they only come in rims that are 12 wide and higher. Mine now are 20x9, I was told if I do a 1" level they would be able to fit the wide rims, just seeing if anyone else has done this and what I will need to do to fit the wider rims

Offset and rim width go hand in hand. You won't find a 9" wide wheel with a -44 offset. -44 offset is typically only found in 12" wide rims.

You can certainly fit them but tire size and suspension setup will be key. You'll need a leveling kit for sure, I'd recommend Bilsteins at 2.8", and then you'll need to stick with 33x12.5 tires.

brandonjansen is absolutely right. U'll never find -44 wheels that are less than 12'' wide. Unfortunately it works and vice versa, I was looking for -18 offset but 12'' wide to match 13.50 tires...no chance
