Fuel pump failure

Came here to give y’all a heads up. I had to replace my stock fuel pump at 145k miles. Was it the recall? Was it just because I ran the truck that long? Idk but I tried to replace with a Delphi pump. Bad news. It made it 10k miles before it melted/overheated on the connections. Thank Jesus it’s a diesel tank is all I have to say

My truck makes 12$ an hour for me with my job, so having it down a long time is not a great option, that’s why I chose the quick replacement option with this one. I am now ponying up the money for a FASS system. I should’ve done that in the first place though
