If anyone else with a 2014 Ram 3500 6.4 needed a diagram for a fuel pump bypass this is what I did.

For years I’ve been fighting a no start due to no fuel pump issue, I ordered a new TIPM which failed again, tested the fuel pump multiple times and it was always good, did the relay jumper from ACC to fuel pump in the fuse box which worked temporarily but left me stranded a few times. Finally I did the fuel pump relay bypass. Took some figuring out but it works now. Knock on wood it’s a permanent fix.

The tools and parts I needed were;

electrical relay package part number 68142156AC from mopar

30A fuse

Fuse holder weather sealed

3/8 Wiring loom

Heat shrink tubing

14 gauge eye connector

Electrical tape

10mm socket

13mm socket

Wire strippers/crimpers

Heat gun

Solder iron

Solder

If you’re wondering if this works for your vehicle, you can compare the pin connectors using the website https://connectorrepairkit.mopar.com/ and put your vehicle in and compare if the pins are the same as mine at the bottom of the image.

I hope this helps someone in need!

I'm going to be doing this job later n this week. At least I'm hoping to. My truck ran like cr@p for quite a while and then it went full no start. I wonder if that relay is the entire problem? The kit is sitting on my work bench just waiting for warmer weather.

I'm getting older and don't much enjoy the cold, I've done y time working out in minus 20 and colder. It is slow to warm up here in northern ontario this year.

Yea, this getting old stuff sure isn't fun some days. I remember back in the 60s and early 70s working bare hands on cold engines outside and think nothing of it. But today .... well... not so much
