Fuel Tank Capacity - 3500 short bed

First post here and I don’t own one yet. I’m looking at a Gen 3 shortbed 3500. The Dodge equipment listing sheet for this VIN, under “Standard Equipment” lists a 34 gallon fuel tank. Then under “Optional Equipment”, it lists “8 Additional Gallons of Diesel Fuel”.

So does this mean that it has a 43 gallon tank? That would be awesome…well, except when having to fill up.

Sorry, I meant 42 gallon. Math isn’t a strong suit.

The additional fuel is what the plant puts in the truck for shipping.

It is a 34 gallon tank.
