well i got the Vararam air intake about a month ago. and i am impressed after testing it out.
the first week i tested out its performance. had a huge noticeable power increase. especially the 60-100mph. friends say they cant feel it. but they dont drive it everyday. im very impressed by the power increase on the vararam.

the second and third week i tested out the mileage. before i got 263miles on a full tank on average. only city driving and no horsing around. very easy throttling but not to little. was getting around 9miles to the gallon. with the Vararam intake i averaged about 310miles on a full tank. but this was with a couple times flooring it, using about 3/4 of a quarter tank messing around. this is averaging around 13miles to the gallon.

on top of it, it adds style to the truck. everytime i pop the hood. a good oooos and ahhh.

all around a great purchase. and got about $100 off with free shipping from 3rdstrikeperformance.com very pleased with this buy.

i highly recommend buying one. its got a nice old style look to it. like when trucks used to have a carb. or atleast thats what it looks like to me. i like older cars. i like the idea of cold air intake but this caught my eye the second i say it.

and let me tell ya. you can really hear it sucking in the air.

How flexible are the tubes? I'm going to have to do some crazy routing to get it to work if I get one, considering I have a plate mounted in front of the bumper to hold my air compressor and tank.

Everyone who has one likes them, might have to pick one up down the road.
