Hey RF Chaps!
I figured it was time to be humiliated with the state of my truck.
Story Time! How I came to own this dirty blue ****.
A year ago, I got into a car wreck. I owned a 2012 Ford Fusion w/ 3.0L v6. Car was a champ, it was amazing. Well, I was taking left onto the Highway, a semi was taking a right to go past me. I decided to go after checking the right side, and when the semi had pulled into the right turn lane, I saw no vehicles behind him. Well, i was wrong. I went, and I got my tail end smacked by a Ford F-250. The only damage to their vehicle was a bent bumper into the front left tired. They were on the road again within a day. Didn't matter that they were going almost 20mph over the speed limit (60mph btw), I was crossing their lane, so it's automatically my fault. Had I been 2 - 3s behind, it would've been a t-bone at 80mph, and I wouldn't be here tellin' you about my stupidity.
Anyways, I decided I wanted a truck, I refused to own another Ford because it made my brother way too damn happy. I had always liked the look of Dodge, and felt they were a worthy investment. So I started looking around for a Dodge Ram 1500, I had wanted a 2500 HD or 3500 because of the horses / cattle situation, but for a used 2500 HD / 3500 with 200k+ miles, they still went for 30k+. So I bought my 2009 Dodge. I almost bought a 2004 or 2006 King Cab with full size bed but I felt like I was driving a limo. I test drove a Ram with the Eco Mode where it shuts off 2 pistons and saves gas when cruising. Anyways, I got this gorgeous blue truck below after a month of shopping around.
Below in post 2 is the list of things I want to do or fix.
Edit: Yes, my truck is SUPER dirty. That's after 2 days of driving, by the way. I washed it Sunday. My family lives in the country on dirt/gravel roads, and the entrance to my work is being worked on. I gave up on trying to keep it washed all the time, especially with the 500 miles I put on it every month from visiting family.
