Garage dehumidifier

I live in Florida, very humid, bought a new house a few months ago that has a garage big enough for my Ram.Problem is there was a lot of moisture in there, I put a few buckets of damp rid in when I first move in which helped quite a bit, but just bought a nice dehumidifier(this one pumps the water bucket out through a hose when it gets full. My question is what is a good humidity level to set it at? I have it set it at 65% right now, it seems to cycle on and off as needed.

50% minimum for human occupation... if its jist for storage, as low as it can go

Same here. I use the garage a lot during the day though and occasionally the door even stays open for quite a while when I’m out doing yard work, so having the dehumidifier running all the time would simply be a waste of energy. I have it running throughout the night and had it set it to 55%.

I just don't want it to run constantly, want it to cycle on and off as needed, what would be the highest I could set it and still help the vehicles inside? My sons Challenger is in and out, but my Ram only gets used once or twice a week, as I drive a company truck.

Ok, I was typing when you posted, my garage is closed most of the time so I want to set it to go on and off day and night.
