Saw with horror today that my gas filler lid was widen open -- even though the truck was locked. Does that mean that the filler lid is not locking when I lock all doors? All my previous cars had that. Anyone can steal gas or put something nasty into the tank?

Not sure what truck you have, but my 2500 is just pull to open the gas door. I assume the 1500 is the same. My wife's durango is push in on the door to release it, but there is nothing that locks it.

No, unfortunately we don't have locking fuel doors.
