1st off squeezed regular gas in diesel very little. Had 3/4 of tank to start. Then topped it off with diesel. What to expect. The gas sprayed back out. That’s how I knew it was wrong

Depends on your definition of “very little” and how that translates to ratio of gas to diesel. I’m not a diesel expert and will absolutely defer to anyone who is. I did drive semis for years, mostly Cummins a coupler V8 Caterpillars briefly and grew up on John Deere tractors. We would put a little unleaded in when it got crazy cold to keep the diesel (non winter blend) from gelling but we tried to keep it around a 1% gas to diesel ratio. Anything more than that I would be concerned about it.

Tough to say. I would have stopped and had it towed and the fuel tank drained and cleaned. Doesn't take much gas to cause issues (they say 1% which would be 0.3 gallons). You might get lucky and see no issues and on the other hand you could destroy your entire fuel system and even cause engine damage. I'd stop driving it and have the entire system flushed out personally.

How much is a little? A half a gallon in a 32 gallon tank is about 1/2% dilution. Sounds like you've already ran the engine, I get some diesel fuel lube additive and keep topping the tank off with diesel as much as possible till you put another 30 or so gallons in. Maybe worth changing the fuel filters that.
Modern day diesels HPFP already have an uphill battle with the lower lubricity of ultra low sulfur fuel, adding gas reduces the lube factor. Compared to older diesels, these comon rail injection systems run upwards of 30K psi. With a '17 CTD it still uses the CP3 HPFP which is a fairly reliable pump.

crash68 gives good advice. I have seen cases where up to 4 gals of gas was put in a 35 gal tank. They added 1-2 quarts of 2 stroke oil (one case of 4 stroke oil) for lubricity and drove and filled as crash suggests. All went well.
