It lugs quite a bit i usually put it in manual in 5th to keep it from lugging and constantly down shifting
Pretty much the same here. In stock configuration, my power wagon at normal cruising speed (60+-), 6th gear is almost a joke. If its not flat ground or slight downhill, might as well stick it in 5th.
These gas trucks with this trans should have 4.56 gears minimum.
