Finally got this done. I don't know why I waited so long. It may have something to do with the first (and only) time I've ever done this was on my '04 and it was a disaster that had to be re-done and took forever. I got one side knocked out in about an hour and a half yesterday and the other side done in about 45 min this morning. There are still a lot of bubbles, most likely because I did a very wet install to give myself time to position the pieces correctly, but they will quickly disappear with the 80* weather we're getting today and tomorrow. :D

By the way, this is a nice 7 year vinyl that was....requisitioned....from the United States Navy and is meant for lettering the side of aircraft. :gr_patrio

Here's a comparison of the OE vinyl and the new stuff:

Keep in mind that the "rough" or almost satin look is due the mass of small bubbles underneath. It will eventually smooth out and look like the '04's did:

What do you think?

That looks nice. The gloss flows much better with the tinted windows.

hairdryer works nicely too. if the bubbles dont go away you can use an extremely fine needle and poke a small hole in it and then use a hairdryer. looks great already though

Looks really good. The dealer just ordered some more flat black to replace mine since they are wrinkled...... wish they would give me gloss black.

Just cancel them and order some from a vinyl dealer. They can't be too much.
