I am going from OEM steel wheels on my tradesman 2500 to a set of OEM aluminum wheels will I have to change out the original studs for longer ones?

Nope, they are all the same. You may need the appropriate lug nuts that go with the wheels though

And, ensure you retorque after 100miles.... I believe it's 130ft/lb.

What lug nuts to use with aluminum wheels?

An ET Style lug nut has a 60° conical seat and a small extended shank to allow for more thread engagement. This type of lug nut is commonly used when putting new, aluminum wheels on older vehicles that came with shorter wheel studs. Jun 12, 2018
