I want to paint my engine cover and don't have the service manual to show how it comes off?
Does it pop off or is there bolts holding it down. I couldn't tell by looking.

Thanks in advance.

You wont break anything...just pull it off...
it's mounted via rubber grommets on metal studs.

What's with the 450hp sticker? You got a supercharger hiding in there or something? Truck looks nice.

Just having some fun... stock is 390Hp, I've upgraded the exhaust from engine to tailpipes with Flowmaster system, K&N air intake, Pulsar superchip. So it's not stock. Blew the doors off a friends stock hemi Ram a few weeks ago on the freeway (backed off at 90 mph though). Mostly did this for towing our trailer in the mountains that we do a lot of.

Jack--in the description of your truck at the bottom under your signature you list the rear end gear ratio as 2.92's--I think that should be 3.92's maybe---
Please post pictures when you get your paint complete--we'd like to see what you create.

So basically...you put 10-15 hp in, and have an unsubstantiated hp claim on your hood lol it looks good, I just don’t know I would have put that power rating on.

What was the gear ratio of the truck you “blew the doors off” of? If it had the 3.21’s, that’s the (only) answer right there.

^^^ Jack--that looks good -- are you going to do the air filter box and the fuse cover to match?

I’m going to definitely get mine painted. Still waiting on my billet Technology underhood dress kit. It’s been 3 weeks so I’m guessing about another 5 week wait minimum then I’m getting this done. I really like the look. Just gotta decide how I want to do the colors and I think I’m going to try and find a extra cover for a reasonable price and have it worked on.
