This is the first time my truck will have been at the track lol.
It's an eighth mile so with only a cold air intake, and the stock muffler taken off, what should I run
Also, will it hurry my truck to race in 4wd?

I have found only time running in 4 high has helped is if the track is very poorly prepped.

There are several variable to determine your time,(Gas, Tail gate, Tire PSI, Spare-Weight Reduction)Gear Ratio, Stock tires/Drag Radials, reaction time. Ill guess 11s

Mine is a bone stock 2003 Hemi with 3.92 gears. My best run is 10.34 at 68 in the 1/8th. Average is probably 10.40. That is bone stock on the factory 20s. No change from the way I drive it everyday.

Very true. I'm anxious to see what the times are with the 3.55s. Let us know how you did.

My guess is a mid-high 10 second 1/8 mile. My truck does it in 9.9@71 on the way to a 15.2@92 1/4 mile bone stock plus the additional 200 pounds from a front bumper replacement. A 2010 4.7 qc 4x4 does it in 10.9@66 on the way to a 16.7@82 1/4 mile

It is a hell of a lot of fun. That's better than I ever ran. Extra weight from the QC I guess. That's fast. Not to shabby at all. What were your reaction times?

I can't even get .2 and I have over 70 passes under my belt, then again it doesn't help that my truck doesn't move till the green light when I hit the gas on the last yellow. What was your 60 ft? And what track?

That is an outstanding reaction time. I've never gotten that kind of time off the line

You can deep stage also to help with recation time tripping the beams but are more likely to red light. Most everyone shallow stages so you have room for error and stop as soon as the second set of staging bulbs, if you want to deep stage roll up alill bit more.

its called red line raceway in caddo mills.
i hit the gas between the second and third yellow light lol
my 60ft was 2.3 or so

Around a mid 15 in the 1/4 mile, not bad! Definitely need to get that 60 ft down for a lot better times. And I'm gonna have to try that next time I head to the track
