Got a new ra4 na update ?

So I just picked up a rA4 na radio for my truck after having issues with the ra3 that I had. My question is I want to do the new update on it but I'm not sure if the radio is a 2014 or 2013. The seller said it was a 2014 but when I called xm radio it came up in there system as a 2013. I also don't have original vin. What do I do to do the update does it matter on the year or are all the updates the same.

Just a sec while I find my thread. Just get the PN off the radio and you can check it here and get the update ...
INFO - 2013-2017 8.4AN FW Notes (RA4/VP4 NA)

Make sure you download and read ALL the directions that go with the update to avoid issues.
