...... out of the shop for the 3rd time! (8200-miles, 6-cyl, 8-spd auto, 4x4)
1st 2 times were due to leaking tranny!
Thursday, I left home and about 3/4-mi, I heard that "ding, ding", looked at the panel and saw the "engine icon" was lit up. Then ROUGH engine followed by dead engine. After a few minutes, it started and I drove off.
Another 3/4 miles, same scenario.
After 5-min it started and I was able to drive to the dealer, w/o additional trouble.
Conclusion: Fault codes: P0300 and P030B. They said that they performed Phaser cleaning procedures (??????) and flashed the PCM with new software. It drove home OK.
Side note: My Uconnect randomly loses connection to my Smart prone, some times losing connection during a call or cannot find my phone to play music. Dealer does not have a flash for my radio??
