I received my Mopar Efan last night, very nice piece and it is huge compared to most aftermarket fans.
I think I see why people say those aftermarket fans vibrate, this fan has 9 blades instead of five and 4 of the blades have little tiny balance weights on them.
Almost have enough money for my tuner then I'll install it all at once.

Do you have a link to this part? I searched but couldn't find one. Thanks!

What is the advantages of the e-fan vs the stock one ?

The stock fan system is actually being operated by the motor, meaning the motor controls the speed. This actually produces a little bit of drag on the motor itself. E-fans are more efficient (better cooling) and they don't rob the motor of power.

When switching to an e-fan you can let the thermostat control the on-time using a programmer etc or you can wire in your own switch and do it manually.

As far as I know there is no downside to doing this mod. Hope this helps.

I don't have a link but you can just google ram e-fan conversion and it will bring up the the info.
This fan I purchased is a brand new Mopar take off that I found on EBAY, this is suppose to be a straight bolt on deal and it's also suppose plug ands play. The truck is already completely wired for and the computer runs it.
When you get a tuner to go with it you can lower the thermostat opening temp and adjust what temp the fan turns on. If you run just the fan with no tuner it will turn on at about 205 when the thermostat opens.

Some of the 2014 models have had to stretch or extend the wiring on the fan to reach the factory plug. I know 1 of our local customers just made a plug-n-play extension to install the same fan on his 2014 RT. I'm curious to see if yours needs the same extension or if you are able to make it reach.

Plus you get rid of the big bulky fan so in terms of working on your truck their is a lot more room
