I am a fanatic about keeping my truck clean and detailed. I started the other morning at 600 and finally finished a little after 3:00. Everything was done by hand and waiting on the coats of wax to set and the waiting time to reapply was the most time consuming.

I started with a good scrub down of the entire truck and followed that up with a hand drying and then clay barring. I added 2 coat of Chemical Guys JetSeal109, 2 coat of Chemical Guys Black Light Radiant Finish, and last but not least 2 coats of Chemical Guys 50/50 Paste Wax. Everything on the truck was waxed, including the bed cover and the door jams.

I worked on the interior while the wax set; taking care of all the trim and leather.

I take it you like the Chemical Guy's products.
Can you really tell a difference using a product like "JetSeal"?
They always use it in their videos.

The pictures look amazing, but So does a good fresh wash and clay bar.
Does the JetSeal keep it protected a lot longer? I want to get the truck ready for winter.

The JetSeal109 definitely last a long time in the heat and humidity of Louisiana.
Two coats will last almost a solid year. I haven't found anything else that even comes close.
I'm not against other polishes/waxes though. Adams makes a fine product as do many others, but for the conditions down here you cant go wrong with the JetSeal109. It also spreads easy and lifts easy after hazing over.
