Been searching everywhere pretty sure I've ready the post 100+ times. Can anyone tell me how to get my front end like this?

That's an aftermarket grill screen and a stock bumper painted up in black and white.

Those bumpers were found on 2500 QC's and MegaCabs and on the 1500 Sport model trucks.

The stock bumper covers I've seen in that style are paintable and I think they come either painted or primed, ready to paint. The grill shell on your truck can be reused and you can paint that any color you want. The grill insert looks like a simple painted mesh panel cut to fit the grill shell.

That sport bumper may take a different set of mounting brackets as well.

But, essentially you are correct. Get the parts, paint them how you want them, pull the grill shell and insert out, paint as you like, put any inserts in you want and mount it all up.

Here's some info on the sport bumper that may help:

The center crossbars never "pop out". You'll need to cut them out before you sand/paint the area. There are a million YouTube videos that show this. No big deal if you are already needing to paint the piece to match.

The bumper you are seeking to install is a 2 piece part as opposed to the current bumper you have which is one piece with a top part matching the light contour.

The 2 pieces bumper you want has a inner bumper with a complete plastic cover which is the part you paint to match your desired look.

That being said, nothing stops you from buying the grille/insert and then use some Plasti-Dip or equivalent to reach the look of the above shown bumper using your current chrome one. The benefit of the plasti-dip is that you do not have to go through sandblasting the chrome off of your bumper to paint it, and if you don't like the result, you can peel it and redo (as long as you have applied a thick enough coat it peels off easy, often in one piece...). It is also a very durable and low cost alternative to change the look of your front end.

Just a suggestion.

Here is a very crude attempt at showing how I would contour the paint using the current body lines yet trying to reach the look you want:

I am no Photoshop expert, but I think it renders the general idea...

Hope this helps.

When you say you have the bumper, is it both the shell and inner piece?

For the Grill, you really got to start honing those Google skills my friend :

Okay so the rundown of what I think i am going to do... I just need someone to tell me if there is a easier way, the quality of the chosen product, and if things can be cheaper.

So for the lower bumper I was going to go with the earlier post of getting this
https://www.amazon.com/Evan-Fischer...8-1&keywords=2008+dodge+ram+1500+bumper+cover

For the grill i will look into getting this
https://www.amazon.com/06-08-Pickup...automotive&vehicleId=1&vehicleType=automotive

Someone mentioned cutting the crossbar out! I will have to do some research about that, but finding a currently painted one with the crossbar gone would be GREAT! I will have to fins someone to paint my current one that is chrome colored

Its been awhile for me, but if I remember right, the internal braces and attachment points between the sport or laramie bumpers was different from the SLT regular bumper. It can still be done, but there was additional hardware. Before you spend money, check around in a factory parts catalog to make sure you have everything you need on the bumper. You could be looking at an addition 100-150 in mounts, plates, and supports (ballpark).

awe man! I really appreciate that cause I was going to pull the trigger and buy it. The chrome could be painted, but I like the look of the sport. I live in southern cal so i need to find a place to help me.

There's a little trimming on the factory steel bumper opening and you'll have to redrill a couple holes, but it's no big deal. I did the research on doing the swap and it looked easy.

Do a Google search for Dodge Ram Sport bumper swap and you'll find all the information you need.
