For anyone that's used graphene coating, what are your thoughts on its toughness and abillity to protect against small scratches? It's supposed to be much harder than ceramic.

Haven't seen traffic on this thread in a while. Graphene comes out slightly ahead, but not going to stop a scratch that wants to happen. Good luck.

No coating of any time no matter if it is a ceramic or graphene will protect against scratches. Graphene is on the absolute bottom of the coating world. I would waste my time with that crap. If you want an easy coating to apply that is durable and wont break the bank, look into the Undrdog Protective coatings. Two of my vehicles have the Pro+ on it. If you are looking for a short life spray, use Koch Chemie S0.02. It will add a ton of gloss and will protect the paint. Length of life depends on your conditions and if you are running it through a car wash. If you use a PH neutral soap, I bet you could 8-12 months.

From what I've read, graphene might help resist water spots better than ceramic, but that's about it. These "graphene" coatings are just ceramic with some sort of graphene added.

I live in Florida...We have the worst quality hard water guaranteed to cause kidneys stones. My $.02, based on my personal experience, is that ceramic coatings are Bullllllls&*^. It doesn't stop water spots, scratches, nose boogers, anything. It does, however, empty your wallet. Want something cheap, that 'll last for about 3 months or 12 car washes? Try this stuff....I'm not kidding.

Look into Undrdog Protective Coating best no ceramic coating on the planet. Will not water spot like a ceramic. You put our jeep in some sunlight and it almost disappears in the reflection. It adds that much shine. Protection will last up to 8 years same as any high end ceramic. It also has a better hydrophobic effect. Huge tight water beads. Ceramics are nice, but not that tight and big.
