Grill Question

So I was told in another thread all I do to take the emblem off is use a puddy knife and just pop it off. Is that right? And if it is, how hard is it to re attach it? I am wanting to black out the emblem on my sport grill because I think it will look better that way.

I would be carefull I had a buddy go to pop off his emblem and it had 2 studs in the back of it. Maybe LMC Truck would have a new Emblem so you could see what a detached one would look like.
