Not the normal one here fellas. I installed the Eibach Pro Truck kit on my 2017 Rebel to remove the air ride. At the same time I also did zone uca's, and a full core 4x4 town series rear and new (drilled/slotted) rotors and pads. Everything was torqued to spec (yes everything, I am that ****).

The issue is that I have a grinding noise when driving STRAIGHT. When I turn, either direction, it smooths out. I have not had an alignment yet as I just finished my first test drive. I do have Toyo Open Country tires so not sure if I am feeling the tires or something else.

I did check the CVs for any play while out and disconnected them from the knuckle to prevent separation. I also checked the wheel bearings (albeit unloaded) while everything was apart.

Open for suggestions.

Jack the front end up and start spinning the wheels, try to narrow down where the noise comes from.

That's the odd thing. When it was all off the ground I checked it all along with the wheels turned and everything seemed perfect. I checked with the brakes off also just to verify no noise. I also checked the CV joints for any play also and they were fine.

Any update on this. Putting myself in your position if I had just done the same thing first thing I would say is s0n0fab1tch!!! Figures! Then the first thing I would look at is the new parts see if there is any part that looks like it rubbing on something. See if I could do process of elimination on everything I put in that was new. Not much help I know just thinking about what I would do in this position. Grinding noise, I start at the UCA for odd wear, I guess.
Thinking about it is only when the weight is on the new parts is the grinding happening ...Is it grinding no matter what speed? if in you move a foot? If so with it on the ground and the wheels straight see if your UCA are touching anywhere

After alignment (yesterday) everything feels much better. I feel no more grinding or vibrations.

I am still going to put wheel bearings on the list for this year (110k+ miles) because i figure they are coming due sooner rather than later.

No. My wife took the truck in and didn't get the report either so I'm not sure how far out of alignment it was either.
