I’ve owned budget and high end guns all my life. Nothing compares to a true custom gun that is built start to finish by a single master gunsmith.

I was an FFL for 5 years with my own retail business. Love guns! I used to carry whatever i brought in that I like the most.lol Carried concealed IWB. Love the vehicle rigs I've seen here. I never did that but its a great idea.

I carry a Wilson Combat Professional (4”) in a Milt Sparks Inside the Waist Band holster. In the Ram I have a Taurus PT-145 in a Galco kydex holster Gorrilla Taped to the inside of the center console.
Can we see a pic of that what has to be an amazing firearm?

not a holster, but it holds my edc very well. i didn't want to drill into any dash panel so i made a bolt on mount. it mounts to the right under dash panel screw. i also incorporated my pedal commander mount into it as well. it works very well, and i only have a few dollars into it. not the best photos, but you get the gist.

I used a cheap paddle holster in my last truck. Took it off the paddle and bolted it inside the console. Not sure where ill put it in this truck. I keep a 1911 in my vehicle, carry a glock 27. I like the magnet ideas but might not hold a 1911.

I was out the other day and ran across the springfield XDS .45 ACP what do you guys think about that hand gun?

I have the 3.3" version and it's been good. Good grouping under 10 yards, can do decent accuracy out to 25. Design seems to have worked as you don't feel the .45 kick IMO. I like my Glock 19 for some longer ranges/home use but if I can get my license it's my preferred option at the moment.

Grip is a bit short for my larger hand, but they do have a clip extender. Just have to decide if that would negate the smaller carry size for you or not. I can still fire it fine without.

I had an original XD 45 and wished I had never sold it! It was very accurate and never jammed or malfunctioned in any way. Sold it to my buddy at a reduced cost he could afford.

Fabricated a bracket for my cc. Bolts to the seat rail, I didn't want to drill into or stick something on my console.

Just a suggestion, I carry a Glock 26, and when I'm driving I use a crossdraw holster. Before I exit the truck I remove the crossdraw holster and put it in a strong side IWB carry holster. The weapon is always on my person and if needed i can exit my vehicle immediately with my weapon.

Also it's a good idea to have an extra magazine ready to go. Better to have and not need than need and not have
