H/K add sub

Struggling to find a direct answer.

2022 Laramie with h/k 19 speaker system. I can install physically audio equipment no problem but am not well versed on what works with what, ohms, loads, etc.

will this work?
tap into the wires going to the factory sub and go to lc2i high level convertor then to amp and sub of choice, place under other rear seat. Leave factory sub hooked up In addition to sub and amp of choice.

Don’t leave factory sun hooked up. It’s redundant and boosts certain frequencies. If you are adding a sub then use that. Also, you will need to disable your ANC system once you add that sub.
