I have a 2012 Ram 1500 with the single bulbs H13, what is a good bulb option for these headlights? I want to keep both low and high beam. looking for LED or HID

Thanks

I have the same year... From what I've been told, forget putting HID's in your stock headlight buckets... You'll never get them aligned properly. You'll need to replace the buckets to go with HIDs...

I have found H13 LED's from SuperBrightLEDs.com -

https://www.superbrightleds.com/veh...t-bulb?make=62&model=66&scc_id=1398&year=2012

They are not -exactly- plug and pray, you may need to add some additional do-hickeys to keep them from flickering and to make the CANBUS happy...

I have also given some thought to buying some Nokya Pro-Halogen Arctic White H13 100/80W bulbs. However, they are NOT street legal and they require a heavier wiring harness. I was just going to aim them a bit lower to keep them from being too painful to oncoming traffic. Not sure about the wiring harness though...

But I'm probably just going with the Sylvania H13 SilverStar zXe bulbs the next time I blow one. They are the highest rated for the highest (legal) brightness in a stock bulb. They are not inexpensive, which seems to be their only complaint...
