Hey guys,
I joined here a week or so ago. I've been pouring over threads on the 5th gen Rams. Love all the info! Back in 2006, I bought a new 2500 4wd quad cab Cummins. It lasted 186k until #6 cyl lost chunks of a valve that damaged the piston. I just couldn't see paying a $6500 repair bill on my 13 year old truck. So, with the top half of the engine removed, the dealership took it on trade and I drove off into the sunset with my new 1500 Crew Cab 4wd 5.7 E-torque. I really like the new style and creature comforts. There's definitely things that I miss about my old truck, and I wish I still had it, but hopefully I'll enjoy this one for years to come as well. I appreciate all the knowledge here. I have a lot to read up on. Thanks for having me!
