We did Turkey and all the fixings and had a few family members over yesterday,as some were worried about how good the roads were gonna be today and tomorrow.Yesterday it was 22C on my thermometer, today it's about -1C and that looks to be all we're going to get to today, aarrgghh,i hate Canuck wintersDespite the challenges, we really do have an awful lot to be thankful for. Hope the family meals are great. We are doing the traditional ham, turkey, fish and all the Ukrainian side dishes with a few Italian ones thrown in for good measure.
Found this picture on line. Now that is what I call a BIG dinner.

Well, here in northern Ontario, it is going to be plus 16 and sunny. The maple tree in my front yard has very few leaves left. Hoping for some strong north winds. Makes raking leaves much less of a task.We did Turkey and all the fixings and had a few family members over yesterday,as some were worried about how good the roads were gonna be today and tomorrow.Yesterday it was 22C on my thermometer, today it's about -1C and that looks to be all we're going to get to today, aarrgghh,i hate Canuck winters![]()

While 90 degrees is a nice treat, some relief is great from time to time. And here it is, still coming close to 90° F every day.
This is nothing, it was 110°+ every day between the 1st week in July and the end of September. While 90 degrees is a nice treat, some relief is great from time to time.
