First time on this forum, but I have been wanting to change out the quad lamps on my 2012 ram to the projector headlights. I know I need an adapter in order for them to plug in to the harness but I was wondering if anyone has bought the projector headlights with DRL from top gear autosport website. http://www.topgearautosport.com/par...dlights_Switchback_LED_DRL_Signal_Lights.html . Wondering if the DRL will work the way it shows it in the picture. I have alfaobd to activate Day time running lights but not sure if it will work.

Those are the modifystreet projector headlights. They are cheaper from this vendor on amazon- https://www.amazon.com/ModifyStreet...prefix=ram+modifystre&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&th=1
Since you have a 2012, you don’t have dedicated DRL circuits available on your truck, so AlfaOBD won’t do anything for them. You can easily get the DRLs to work as pictured by using the supplied DRL fuse tap harness. When tapped into a switched power fuse, this will make the DRLs come on whenever the truck is running.

I have those lights in black and like mentioned either amazon or ebay will be quite a bit cheaper on price I paid $275 for mine. The white drl has a seperate wire to run to power, I took it to the fuse box with a fuse tap and they work great. I personally prefer them to the stocks because at night the drl is on with the projectors and picks up reflecting signs above the cut off line.

I also threw in HID's in the low beam

Low prices? The headlights the OP linked in the original post are about $130 more expensive on that site then EBay or Amazon. Seems WAY overpriced to me.

Did your DRLs give you any trouble? I put the headlights on the other day and today was my first time running it with the DRL because I had to buy the fuse tap, but the passenger side doesn't turn on. If I turn on the parking lights, both sides turn on white but when I turn them off, drivers side white DRL is on but the passenger isn't. Any idea what could be the problem? Everything else works fine it's just the right DRL.

Had no problems with the drl’s both come just like there supposed to, might want to check the drl connector is fully seated to the passenger light
