Headers.....no tune

I've got JBA long tube headers coming with a catless ypipe My question is it may be a bit till I get a tune Wondering if I can run them without a tune or if it will be to lean to run a while.

I have the same setup with no tune. Exhaust pops and crackles on down rev, but is otherwise fine.

isn't that relatively normal for newer vehicles? my understanding is the computer cuts fuel on decel causing the pops/crackles, usually muted by stock exhaust. My 09 G8 GT and my current 17 Mustang GT both pop and crackle on decel with only corsa cat backs on either car, no headers, no tune. meaning, yes, it should be fine performance wise?

this is not an argumentative statement but a true curiosity related question. I'm more savvy with carburetors not much knowledge with EFI.

You won't hurt anything with your setup driving, but you will gain a ton of power with a tune when you get it.
