Hey i was putting led in the black quad housings.
right side went great... lets just say the drivers side was not nice. i broke the bottom tab and somehow lost the screw, i have took a magnet and everything to it for an hour.
needless to say whats the best way to get it replaced (the screw that goes into the mount) and does any one have a lead into a black quad housing for a good price? or should i go aftermarket. i see some for around 300 for the pair.

Just go aftermarket. Plenty of styles to choose from and you won't **** off oncoming traffic with your blinding LED bulbs that the reflector housings weren't designed for and aren't technically legal for on road use in the US anyway.

Sounds like someone had a bad experience with cheap LEDs. There are plenty of good options for stock quads that are good quality and well focused which will not blind anybody when properly aimed, and don’t necessarily need to break the bank either.

OP, sounds like only one mount is broken? If so sounds like you might be able to just leave it as there should be another mount on that side of the light if I understand correctly. Maybe it’s just me but if possible I would do that anyday over spending $3-400 on new housings. Otherwise I would agree you may as well go with a good quality aftermarket set if your spending that much, looks a lot better then the quads also. Whatever you do, don’t make the mistake of buying a cheap factory style but aftermarket manufacturer housing.

i am leaning to that. i bought the farens they are awesome. i tried them out tonight had my wife drive the soul down our road and i had the truck she said it was fine. also i have not got any high beams at me tonight. i really like the blacked out quads. i know everyone has them but ehh they dont look that bad. as the screw part its the one at the bottom. https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxCzM2zQOdV1KVO5z9mXOVxdxeNkmZmX8q

The fahrens are really good quality and well made. Yeah if I were you I'd just throw it back on and roll with it unless the headlight is loose or wobbly at all. Worse case scenario you have to replace it later on.
