So i just noticed some water stains on the headliner of my 17 1500 after a couple of days of heavy rain.after researching I've found the most common problem for this is the third brake light gasket leaking another issue is the shark fin antenna which complicates things as i Think you need to drop the headliner to address this issue but i can be wrong.
I'm thinking its most likeley the third brake light gasket as the stains are not just on the driver side they are on the passenger side as well and they are roughly about the same size if they were contained to the driver side I would lean towards the antenna but with them being on both sides I'm thinking its probably this cheap gasket which im hoping is the case as its a much easier fix!
with the stains being on both sides not just one am i right in assuming its possibly the gasket in the brake light i'm goign to change it regardless starting there hoping this is it hoping for the best
What are your guys guess on this I'm sure some of you have had this same issue as it seems to be a very common problem with the rams
