Heated seat swap?

Hey team,

Just recently got a 2016 ram 1500 5.7 big Horn with ram box and love it!

One weird question though I have leather seats but I think the PO had them swapped. Were there leather seats that weren’t heated? Would there be any easy way to tell cause both seats have multiple wires going to them. Driver side is powered passenger is manual. I’m just wondering if he swapped seats but never had the option unlocked on the dash.

Seats also say katskinz? So it may have just been an upholstery job...

Possible they had the leather installed after the fact....Katzkin is the OEM for Mopar, but Big Horn seats would be in that config (power driver, manual passenger). The wires are probably for the power motor on the left, along with airbags, etc.

Its *possible* they put in heated seats but never the buttons, but I would think its not probable since they would know they bought heated seats but never used them. Do you have heated seat "soft buttons" on the radio when the truck starts?

Im guessing they had the Katzkin installed after the fact, you can go through a dealer to have them do it (or they will farm it out to an interior shop).

Didnt come from the factory like that, previous owner paid the dealer or a shop to have it done.
