2013 ram quad cab express. Can heated seats be added? Is it prewired for factory heaters or would doing aftermarket with 50 dollar ebay set work just as well?

Use the search feature at the top. Been a few threads on it before. It should answer any questions you may have. I don't believe they are prewired but don't hold me to that.

They are not "pre-wired" but the Mopar kit plugs directly into the power port in either your dash or center console. You have to cut a small slot in the dash or center console to mount the small push button.

It is a lot of work, you have to remove the seat covers and hog ring them back on. Good time to Upgrade to some leathers.

^^^ The full and correct way to do it. You can also just undo two hog rings and slide the heating pad in.

I have a 2012 cc express and i just installed a kit i purchased from amazon. It works great and all necessary wiring is included. The hardest part was running the wires under the carpet to give it a factory appearance. Had to remove both seats and the middle jump seat. If you dont want to use hog rings( can be a pita) zip ties work just as well. Good luck.

Maybe you want to half ass your truck, but I don't. Come summer just won't turn the switch to the on position I guess that takes of that issue. and your point is dumb because on ebay a whole carbon kit with pads, wiring , and switch is 50 bucks. I am installing leather anyways so makes sense now don't it.

I remember a guy on one of the Ram forums a couple years ago who started a small fire in his interior not doing the install correctly
