Heated steering wheel and seats

My apologies if this has been covered before. I'm a new Ram owner, took delivery yesterday evening. It's a 2017 Laramie 4X4. It has the heated seats and steering wheel. My problem is that they are programmed to come on when the vehicle is started. I want to turn them on as needed,but cannot figure out how to change it. I've read the owner manual and it says to follow the instructions on the DVD supplied by the factory. I looked at everything I could find about seats and did not see how to delete them coming on automatically. Can anybody here explain it to me in layman's terms.

Push your apps button and then go into settings. Scroll through settings until you see the Auto On Comfort Settings. You can select from there.
