When I turn my heat/ac on there's a loud squeak for a couple seconds and then it goes away but continues to be awfully noisy while it's running, sometimes I get annoyed and shut it off. Is there any way to quiet down whatever is making the noise?

I had to replace my AC blower motor a few months ago because it was making a non stop ticking sound with the AC on...Its quiet as can be now. I never had any squeaks though and we only use the heater in Jan-Feb around here...haha

mine does the same exact crap with the heat on. the colder it is outside, the louder it gets. pretty annoying, especially on a truck that only has 9k miles on it.

Don't know about these trucks, but had similar on another vehicle. Sounds like blower motor. For me it was the bearing on it.
