Hellcat TB upgrade part 2

So been running this mod for a year with zero problems in regards to driveability. Still love it. Still recommend it even for a bolt on 5.7 engine.



I used the MMX TB adapter that tapers down to 85mm from 92mm.



Inside the gigantic Mopar CAI box with the filter removed.



Functional hood scoop.



New 4" silicone coupler I had to use to connect the TB to the intake tube.

Are you tuned? Or running this on stock?

What if any benefits have you noticed since you are recommending?

Tuned with Diablo's i3 handheld. Custom tuned by Jay Greene with additional tunes purchased for 87, 91, Flex Fuel E51 and E85 as well. The 8speed TCM is also tuned by Jay.

The benefits are I barely have to press the gas to get this tank moving. For a bolt-on truck wearing 37's it makes an awesome powerband. Idle to 6k there is power everywhere. If you're looking to go faster this OEM piece is the ticket.

Mopar CAI "because I live close to Cali" and it has the carb cert sticker I need for them not to bother me

aFe 1 3/4 LT's hi flo cats, carven R direct fit, moes 5" tips painted black.
V6 electric fan
Clutch fan delete.
4.56 gear to turn the 37's
8 speed tuned stock internal trans.

No from my experience I've never cared for bored or ported TB's. I have not used to them on the truck platform.

Now with my preference in place the cost of the hellcat TB brand new with adapter is right at $400. I believe most of the ported or bored options of OEM pieces will set you back $350 ish. I needed a TB that has zero driveability issues. I can't have my truck bucking, stalling or any of that nonsense. I need it to get me wherever I want to go without problem. With a year of use this TB hasn't failed me once. Not once!

The Mopar CAI is carb certified . I can just put the old hose back on to press. Two 8mm band clamps and its changed.

They can't see the TB its connected to but the hellcat TB is an oem piece on oem FCA vehicles. I doubt anyone would have problems with it.
