Hi,

Looked at probably 20 dodge truck forums then joined here

I have a blue over silver 02 1500 4wd SLT short cab long bed. The body on this thing is in exceptional shape (no dents/rust) but I have that darned 4.7 and unfortunately it is over 160000 miles.

I'm knee deep in head gaskets, and it is interesting I have read about 10 stories identical to mine LOL must be a common problem with this motor.

I'll be hanging around and picking up words of wisdom, thanks for putting up with me in advance-

This is a pic right before disassembly, started it today. I'm a CNC programmer and don't usually tear motors apart but it looks like this winter is going to be a bear and I either need to get it on the road or sell, neither can happen in the condition it is in.
