help 2013 s&b intake

I installed s&b intake today on my 2013 1500 hemi
I cant bolt the ac line backas it hit the scoop the only way i.can bolt it on is if i loosen the air box from where the oe bolt sits but dont want it all lose so i just left the ac line as is but it it sticking up a bit doesnt hurt hood at all but dont like the way it looks is this normal or did i do something wrong as i followed the directions as i received them??and should i also leave the scoop open from the bottom or closed?

And i also have a throttle body spacer airraid thati bought from.a friend is thateven goodat all or should i remove i dont want to be putting parts that will cost hp lost help will really be appreciated?

I had the same problem with the S&B CAI install when I got to the ac line step. I had to leave that part unbolted right above where the factory air duct is. I don't know what to do with it other than leave it unbolted.

Leave the bottom air scoop open.

If you already bought the space and can't return it, install it. Easy install.

Yeah i guess i leave like that for now

So does the spacer do anything?

My next mod would be a bullydog tuner and 87mm tb

Throttle spacers are a waste of money. :jester:

Ported Throttle Bodies however are da bomb! :happy3:

Guys, he already bought the spacer. It's not going to negatively affect your engine performance. Install it.

To bad for me but i guess i should of. Asked before we learn somehow lol

And yes i heard the ported bodie is reall good will be getting that for sure in the future but what is the difference between the ported 85mm and the 87mm?

From what hemi450hp told me the only way youll feel any difference between 85 and 87mm is with headers.

it will vary depending on how much performance things you add to the truck. The more performance goodies you add the better that TB is going to get.
