Hey all ramforumers, I need help deciding what path to take my truck.

Truck is a 2012 quad cab express mineral gray and the only mods are a manga flow 14 inch and a tri fold tonneau along with a 2 inch HBS spacer. I can't decide if I should try to make a mock sport model out of it and add 22s for the summer and different winter tires and wheels , while focusing on luxury by doing leather and trying to find a console, color matching and all as best as I can.
Or option b, go for more height and add a 1.25 or 1.5 body lift and add some flares and 35s and steps and such. I like both ideas and have liked many guys trucks on this forum ( so much advice and ideas on here.

On a side note, I do live in way north New York by the Canadian border, so considering all mods for -30 temps and lots of snow should be considered, thanks all.

Oh and budget total looking at no more than $3k parts and labor for the difficult parts.

Thanks again. I would post pics but the truck is salt covered and filthy.

I say you should throw the bl or bilsteins on there with the 35" tires. Just what I'd do though

Well, if its going to be used in the snow and -30, I'd go plan B. That way you can truly enjoy it year round and not have to worry. It won't cost a ton of money and you can do the install yourself. That's my 2 cents.

I'd say reconsider the cosmetic mods and go all performance. Headers, e-fan and a Moe's 87mm tb. maybe a DaiabloSport Tuner. then some gears and wheels/tires. you 'd be set for all weather with that power.

I agree. A level and 35s go a long way in the snow

i LOVE the look of your truck, its a bit extreme for what i would like to achieve looks wise and price wise, but id like to have the stance of yours but with possibly 34s and a bit less fenderwell clearance, a good in between of yours and quietpeens truck would make me really happy.

How bad does a 4" or 6" lift and 35s kill your gas mileage?
