Hey guys. I have a 2006 SCSB 4x4 1500 5.7L and want to level the front.
I've read all about the Bilsteins, but what all do I need to buy for those? Is there a better way? Are Bilsteins the most cost efficient?
Most of my driving will be on road, with occasional off road. I just want it level. Do I need an alinment after leveling?
Sorry for the newbie questions. I just can't figure it out myself by searching... Plus it's 12:42AM lol.... could be that.

The adjustable bilstein 5100's are a replacement shock/strut that gives you the ability to adjust the front up to 2.8". Most will say it gives you a better than stock ride. It will be the most expensive way. Next is your least expensive way which is a coil spacer. It retains all stock suspension components and is a spacer that sits on top of the coil. I've never had a complaint about the ride quality of a spacer lift. Hope this helps a little

I think on the 3rd gens the bilsteins will only lift the front 2 inches not 2.8

So do. I replace front and rears with 5100s? Are they able to be put in at home?
Ive seen some people say the fronts are easy and some dont think so. Does that depend on which gen you have? I could afford them if it was something I could do at home. Im no master mechanic but I do my own plugs, oil, tire rotations... the basic stuff I guess.
Thanks!
