Help pls: installing amp + sub

Hello,

I have a 2015 Ram 1500 Rebel with the satnav touch screen stereo (harman i believe).
I'm installing an after market amp + sub and need to plug into the back of the radio to connect the amp.

As the radio does not have RCA on the back... need to tap into the Signal wires - but as does not look like it has those either... need to tap into right and left speaker wires with a little hub I have which will convert those to RCA.

QUESTION: I've spent hours online today trying to find any schematic of the connector on the back and the cables, to try understand which wire is for what and could not find anything... Specifically, I need to know the + and - for left and right speaker (does not matter if front of back).

I can see another post in this forum and there is a link to what i need but the link does not work, returns a 404 error...

Anyone can help?

This may be a stupid/noobie question.. is there an easy way to determine which audio system I have?

It is a larger touch screen display I have which controls not only radio and audio but car systems like air conditioning and Sat nav.

It does not say Alpine anywhere (I thought premium was Alpine and had the brand on the dash?)

As far as I can see there are total of 4 door speakers and a center speaker under front windshield and that's it.

If there was an Amp where in the ram 1500 would it be?

If you have the Alpine you’ll have a pair of small speakers in the ceiling just behind the front seats.

My guess is that you have the four door speakers and then two in the front corners of your dash. The center spot may be empty.

Thanks TomT, exactly right. Basic system. All is now installed. Got a 600W Alpine sub +, JL 500W speaker, initial impressions are really positive!
