help tracing alternator wire

Hi guys i have a 2015 ram 1500 with the ecodisaster and I can't find the wiring info I need to trace a broken wire. the lin bus that go's to the alternator and the grill active shutters seems to be broken. I'm getting a cel for both and did some testing with the info i do have. the circuit is complete from the g.a.s. to the alternator and i traced it back to a large connector on the lower back side of the battery box and the circuit is complete from the alternator to this plug but i don't know what loom it runs through or what other plugs it may go through before ending up at the ecm. The circuit seems to be open between here and the ecm. if anyone has a trace of the routing, connectors it runs through or locations of a splice that would be very help full.

ok if that's what it dose I don't know how to use it correctly, do you have any advice or directions on using it? this is d511 where I am starting how do I use this to find the next connector or splice the wire go's through.

that plus the other link used together is pretty helpful. but some of it is still like talking swahili to me.. like the connector labeled INLINE-BODY/FRONT END MODULE is there a way to show a location of that in a pic or 3d image?

like i found this for spd511a but i cant find any of the connectors or the spd511b..

can i ask what you found that on? its almost exactly what i need but the 3.0 ecodisaster is wired a little different.

it looks like you would call the connector circled in green l200 on Mpgrimm2 3d image. what connector would you say the one in blue is called?

My apology, for some odd reason, that doesn't appear to be as useful for your search.

I'm not sure which connector you identified on Mpgrimm2's connector layout diagram, but I have found that path on the Mopar connector link site. This will show the connector appearance and associated pin outs.

The Service Manual urges against cramming meter leads into these large connectors to avoid damaging them and creating intermittent connectivity. I would just use caution and avoid applying too much force.


The attachments below start at the Actuator- Grill Shutter and up towards the Power Train Module.
