Help with led bulbs

I just ordered some from Amazon, but they flixker very slowly (almost half a second on and off) one side to the other. I took them out immediately. What would be the issue?

From my research the bulb is different for trucks with LED tail lights vs not.

I talk to a guy at super bright led and he told me the exact ones i need and your right u need to make sure u pick the right ones depending what type of headlight u have . I don’t have projector heads . Reverse ones are 921-x13-cbt-car . Map and dome 4410-x8-cbt-car. License plate 194-xhp5. For some reason he told me the map and the dome are the same but I’m not sure if they are ? Does anyone know for sure ?

Deepc6 is correct, the Laramie and up have mostly different bulbs. The Sports have the same exterior bulbs as Laramie and higher trims, and I believe had the option for the LED interior lighting. I think I vaguely remember the LED interior lighting becoming standard for the Sports at some point, I think it was 2016 or earlier, but I can't remember what model year that started. I may also be remembering incorrectly. However, since you don't have the projector headlights, you won't have the LED interior, and don't need to worry about it. If you had the factory LED interior lights, you really couldn't upgrade most of the interior bulbs without swapping parts with lower trim level trucks, or doing your own solder work.

Most bulb numbers can be found at the below links for the 2016 model year. FYI for those with 2013-2015 trucks, I believe the only one that changed (2016 model year) was the low beam bulb in the projector headlights. It went from a 9012 (2013-2015) to a 9005 (2016+).

I just replaced my dome light last yesterday with a LED one. My 2018 CC 1500 has the quad lights. On my truck, the map lights and dome lights are not the same bulb. The dome is a capsule type bulb (looks like an old glass fuse), but the map lights are the other kind of bulb. Here's a couple of links to the ones I got.

These are the ones for the map lights. These are also the same as the license plate lights.
I haven't tried them in my map lights yet but as soon as I get them, I'll try them out. Ordered them last night. But they have worked fine on my license plate and it's the same bulb number, so should be fine.
