Help with SCT BDX Tuner

I was hoping someone has gone down the same path as I.

Truck: 2014 Ram Express 5.7 4x4.

Just got a new BDX tuner. After updating the tuner I get an error saying unsupported. It tries to update files or something and then I get 13002 error.
Take it back inside and the updater now recognizes my VIN. I get a message that my VIN is supported.
Go back out side. Still says not supported. So i try updating via WiFi. I get updated help files or something and get a firmware flash. After an attempt, still 13002, not supported.

Tried SCT email and online form for help, nothing. I did the chat help. He asked for software part number and versions, he said that I would have to call tech support that they need to delete some files. Called over and over. The phone message says they are at capacity.

Tried resetting the device, since it never married up to the truck.

Has anyone else had this similar problem.?


I already tried a Daiblo, piece crap hardware had to return.
I can try the Banks, but I don't want to send this back.

I tried to update my sct x4 today. All I got was error message. I tried both wifi and wired.

I'm calling them on Monday.

Did you get a hold of them?

I was on hold for an hour and 17 minutes and I chose the option to schedule a call back. Mother effers it wasn't a scheduler it was just they were going to call me back. And they did an hour later when I was at work not near my phone.

Over two and a half hours with with tech support. Jeremy basically said that the way this box is working that when it updates it's going to keep pulling in old files which don't work. He needs to send the information over to engineering so they can keep this from overriding new files

No ETA when this will be fixed and I am told that a new bdx unit will not fix the problem. So this might explain why your bdx doesn't work anymore I wish you the best of luck but for now I am returning this. I've already tried Diablo products now this product last resort and might try the banks but not sure if it's worth all the F'n trouble.

Supercharger is out of question. This is my daily driver.
