Hi all. new member seeking help. I have 2016 1500, 4x4, stock susp. I want to add moto metal 970 wheels with toyo RT tires (33'). I don't want the tires to be outside the fenders to the point it looks stupid. Im guessing 1-2". I am struggling w wheel size and offset. Do I go 20x9 (o offset), 20x9 (-18offset), 20x10 (-24offset)? Thanks in advance for responses . Feel free to add pics to responses

87F1232E-37A3-49FA-BD1B-D3F4B013C9AE.jpeg Its multi-answer solution...wheels and tires. Are you sticking with 275/60/20 or going with a wider tire? Also, do you have flares? I kept my tires to 33.2” (305/55/20) but now the tire is 12.5” wide versus the stock (10.8”??)
My wheels are Moto’s 987’s. 20x9, +18 (stock) offset. No flares and they poke out maybe 1/2” as you see in above pic. If you have flares, I would say a zero offset minimum to a -12 max on 20x9. It all depends on how you answer the tire size question. That is going to be the HUGE determining factor on which wheel would look the best.

No flares or intention to add them. With respect to the tires, i plan to go with toyo open country rt. 33x12.50x20. I can’t use a tire that raises the truck so I can continue to park in the garage

@golfinds Okay so with looking at my set up you can judge how far out a 12.5” will sit on your rims. Mine is stock offset 20x9 w/ 12.5” wide tire. A zero offset will poke out 18mm further and a -12mm offset will be 30mm. -24offset=36mm etc etc.
hope this helps and post pics when done,

Much appreciated. I think your set up is what I am after. I’m a little too old for it to look like a teenagers truck but i do want some style. Lol

This website is exactly what I am looking for. Thanks for posting it.

Does anyone know what the stock offset is for the 2017 2500 w/ 20" wheels. I think they are 20 x 8 with +54mm offset.

Thx.
