Hi Folks
I have a 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 Diesel. I am putting on 4 Hella Ralley 4000 on a light bar. These lights I have converted to HID. I want to wire them in a 2 switches on the dash. One switch for each set of hellas. I need to tie them into the high beams so the come on and off with the high beams but are also controlled by the switch in the cab. The switch in the cab would just control whether the road lights would come an on at all and the high beam circuit would control when they would come on.

I can handle the wiring but does anyone know where the easiest place would be to tap into the high beam circuit. The high beam circuit would trigger the relay to take power direct from the battery to fire the lights.

Any help from someone knowledgeable would be appreciated.

why do you want them to be attached the the highbeam? if you just put the green wire to power, you dont need to have it attached to the highbeam

I don't quite understand. Do you want the high beam switch in parallel with the in cab switches, or in series?

If you pull the headlights out, on the main plug there is a green/white wire. That goes to the high beams. If I understand what you're wanting correctly, you could tap into the high beams there.

I have my fogs tapped into my high beams so when the high beams are on, the fogs remain on as well. That's where I tapped mine.

Ok the reason i need them to come on and off with the high beams is so i do not have to fumble for switches when dimming my lights. Just hit the dimmer switch and everything goes out but the low beams. Ok so i will use the green white wire to the headlight then. I was just wondering if there was an easier spot to get to this wire without having to pop the light out.
